Flameprotect UK have just completed a huge fire retardant application job for the Marvel Universe live Tour in Sweden before the make their way to Germany for the next leg . 

The job was completed between 28th and 30th October and consisted of over 2000sqm of stage curtains and drapes and 120 different costumes.

This is the 3rd time the Chris and Wes has had to travel into Europe as the duo have already completed work in Estonia and Italy.

A popular Cardiff entertainment venue contacted us a few days before its grand opening when it was picked up on the fire safety checks that all of the wall and ceiling fabric and the stage curtains had no fire resistant certification . 

After attending and quoting for work and price was agreed and date made to carry out the works.

Twycross Zoo is a medium to large zoo near Norton Juxta Twycross, Leicestershire. The zoo has the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World, and in 2006 re-launched itself as "Twycross Zoo – The World Primate Centre" The Zoo attracted over 450,000 visitors in 2014 so fire safety is high on its lists of priorities. Their timber build exotic bird enclosure didn't meet the building regulations.

Angela and her team contacted Flame Protect UK when the local fire safety officer informed her that all her stage and window curtains needed to be made fire resistant after they where taken down to be washed. 

A quotation was sent and past by the committee an appointment was made to carry out the treatment in the early hours of a Sunday Monday so the center didn't have to shut it's doors to the public while works was being carried out. 5 years BS.5867 certification will now be issued.
